I am a higher education teacher of English specialising in English Phonetics and Phonology with over seventeen years of experience. I also deliver CPD pronunciation courses for EFL teachers, translators, and interpreters.

I hold an MA degree in English Language, and a BA in Translation and Interpreting. Having completed a four-year vocational course in Professional Acting and having taken numerous courses in different actor training systems, I also work as an actor in fringe theatres and independent projects. 

I usually participate in national and international conferences. In 2023, I was awarded the IATEFL Pronunciation SIG’s Classroom Research Scholarship. I am the author of the book English Pronunciation through Acting Exercises and Techniques (2024).
